The artwork inspired by Jacek Malczewski's painting "Enchantment", 1906.
The great Polish symbolist painter pictured himself with Maria Balowa, who was his lover and source of inspiration.
She was one of the biggest love in artist's life, their illicit love affair lasted over 13 years. Malczewski used to call her "An Aphrodite of his life".
In a letter painter wrote to his wife, he admitted he had passionate feelings for Balowa, calling his affection "an artist's insaneness".
